FIRST CERTIFICATE IN ENGLISH (FCE)

If you are ambitious, talented and want to learn more, get involved in a preparation course for gaining/taking the Cambridge International Certificate, First Certificate in English.
It is the most useful and popular certificate of General English in the world, recognized in all EU countries, as well as in the USA, Australia, Canada, etc.
The Certificate and the level of English, will help you to find a job both in our country and abroad. Furthermore, it will enable you to study abroad, especially now, when we are part of EU.
In case you do not have such ambitions (so far), this preparatory course can still be useful - as a preparation for 'State Matura', language competitions, or simply as an extension of knowledge'.
The exam consists of 5 parts:
reading comprehension, writing, language in use, listening and speaking. It takes place in British Council in Zagreb and is corrected in Cambridge.

Apart from the textbooks for FCE, a lot of supplementary materials, past papers, even handouts for the higher level, CAE, are used.
